Visiting Kelowna and Hotel Zed

Hands down this is the coolest hotel I have experienced. I have always heard of the Victoria location and I was super excited to hear of the new Kelowna location- right by beautiful Okanagan Lake. This hotel has a fantastic retro vibe complete with a disco room, records in the lobby, typewriters and even old school bikes + roller skate to take for a ride downtown (for free!). We took the bikes out for breakfast to The Bread Company and had a delish meal. I love the feeling of downtown Kelowna, it is not as busy as Vancouver. Ever get bored at hotel? You defintley won’t at Hotel Zed- the ping pong lounge and pool are super fun and great for kids as well.I loved the rooftop patios as well, so relaxing. There are many different rooms to choose from and we had a funky room complete with a rotary phone ( I really want one of those in my house!) and a comfy king bed. We had the best sleeps and thouroughly enjoyed that AC it was a scorcher all weekend. We all had a sea-doo rental on our last day and that was soooo fun- I made Devin a lil scared and his high pitched screams could be heard across the lake 😉 I highly recommend this unique hotel and is such a fresh change from the fancy usual. Check out some photos from our stay below! I carried my Nikon D5500 with me the whole trip and it did a great job at snapping pics, as there was so much I wanted to photogrph at the hotel + capture the vibrancy- I just started using the Wifi feature on the camera and can easily transfer photos to my Nikon Wireless app…great for busy vacations when you wanna Instagram something in a jiffy!
