“We’re so busy watching out for what’s just ahead of us that we don’t take time to enjoy where we are.”
― Bill Watterson
life lately// This summer is just whizzing by and I am only a month and a half away until our wedding. Things have been busy planning this wedding, going to school, parenting, running my blog AND my newest endeavor the Love Of Revival Vintage online shop. It seems lately there is not enough time in a day to do all that I want and Miss Macy is at her most wild stage yet getting into EVERYTHING (even wolfing down the block of butter). I have slowed down on blogging for the summer in order to keep my GPA up and have fun with Macy as well. I dread September for that’s when she starts to go to daycare during the day…everyone tells me it goes by fast and they are right it feels like yesterday she was learning to roll over. Slow down!! Lately when life gets hectic I need to force myself to sit down and relax to clear my mind/pray because I have been feeling incredibly tired both physically and emotionally. We just bought our first home and I love it sooo much, but our neighbors flooded it so we are waiting on new flooring and have to move out for a week (hotel vacay!) I am dying to decorate my house and once the wedding is over I will have lots of new projects to focus on which I can’t wait to share with you. The past couple months have been stressful with wedding planning, adjusting to a new home, being healthy and rocking this parenting thing- but I consider a busy life better than a boring life. I am trying to eliminate as much negativity from my life as I can such as too much junk food, worrying about the future and friends who bring me down. I need to take things one day at a time and not worry about tomorrow.I am thankful for my life and nobody should have the power to stop what you’ve been blessed with. In the midst of crazy life I am trying to motivate myself to snap more candid photos of our everyday lives. It goes by fast and I want to be able to look back at the joyful moments and watch little Macy grow. Here are some snaps of our life lately taken with my Nikon D5500 / a lot of these photos I took advantage of the touch screen where you just tap it to focus and take a photo…super great for getting that quick shot of kiddo on the move.
Have to document when I cook a really good dinner! I could live off homemade alfredo.(Love having a food scene on my camera)
Love this view from my desk. I miss home sometimes and its nice to stare at city lights.
